Gomantak Restaurant

I was recommended this restaurant by lots of friends and family but I have to be honest I didn't enjoy the food. We had ordered several dishes and out of all that only the shell fish was good. The pomfret was not at all fresh it had a bad taste and smell to it then best part when we complain about the same, the manager return back saying the chef tasted it and claims it's fresh like really I have been eating sea food all my life and your going to argue and tell me it's fresh. Anyhow we asked them to take the dish back and remove it from the bill which they agreed too. We had ordered mutton gravy which was slightly raw from inside. It seems like it was made in hurry as the meat was very tough and slightly undercooked. We had also ordered some prawns they were also good.

Ambience are perfect. Being a Maharashtrian I really loved the vibe. Service is top notch and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food is delectable and fresh. We really loved pomfret thali, crab thali and rawa fry prawns. Do not wrap up your meal without having kharvas and modak. Everything is so yumm.

This place is perfect if you crave for the coastal delicacies of Maharashtra and Goa. Their Seafood Thali's are must try, they are prices very modestly and trust me its finger licking good. There's plenty more on their menu, I couldn't resist the goan prawn curry, it was truly a delight. It's a family friendly venue and everything they have on the menu is budget friendly. Do check it our if you're ever in karama.

Visited this place to try Goan food but was very disappointed. The ambiance has nothing that connects you to Goa and the food has no taste, negligible quantity (except thali) and overpriced. Brain tawa masala was only for 3 bites like seriously?? No salt or masala. Extreme disaster!!!

Enjoyed an authentic Govan cuisine. Visited the place on a weekend , full crowd but never had to wait for a table. Amazing service by the team ans delicious food.
